Gardening is a universal love.

Every now and then I like to include photos sent to me by readers.  Bill, from Iowa, gave permission to include this colourful beauty which he named "The Last Samurai" (nasturtium?).  Bill is a retired park ranger and recently came upon this blog via my posting "Ode to Trees".  Welcome Bill and to all visitors.  I appreciate every one of you and love to read your comments too.  So, please take a moment to introduce yourself and say hello.  It's nice to see who is paying their regards.
