Full House Lottery Dream Home #2 (Dog Owner's Dream) - The Princeton (Grand Prize 2)

Families with dogs will love to call this home!  This house features a doggie door, a dog bath station, and a designated feeding spot.  Not only that!  I think the builder was channeling their inner child as they included a slide from the main floor to the ball pit on the lower level.  On the lower level is a media room with built in seating (not super comfy), a really cool Batman coffee table, two bedrooms and a family room.  The kitchen is fabulous!!  There's lots to love in this house and I would choose it from the three show homes if I were to win.

So here it is!  Be prepared to drool just a little!!

We'll start with the garage entrance:

I  LOVE this covered "outdoor" living area complete with extra large bbq, fireplace, sectional and louvered doors that stack for easy access to the back yard.  This, my friends, is a dream!!  I imagine a gorgeous garden with a water feature that you can sit and enjoy no matter the weather because you are covered overhead.  Edson style string lighting hangs overhead from the rafters, an easy to clean floor, and the brick facade.... a gardener's dream!!

The master bedroom above, bathroom below.  The walk-in closet is basically a room complete with small stacked washer and dryer, jewellery island and multiple shelves and rods for clothes storage.

From the closet you enter the bathroom with a large glass shower, a sunken tub (careful, there are no safety handles to enter or exit this tub.  But it looks great, right?!!), a large vanity with makeup desk.  The bathroom is designed in a "U" - shower to the left, sunken tub ahead and then the last arm of the "U" is the vanity.  If only I had a wide angle lens, it would make perfect sense!!

Going downstairs you may either take the stairs or slide into the ball pit!!  Ahead is the sunken entertainment area, to the right is a scotch tasting room and billiards room and to the left are two bedrooms and two kids' bathrooms.

To the right of the entertainment area is the scotch tasting room complete with a sliding barn door and just beyond in the billiards room.

This is the cutest little retreat with lots of storage.  I can imagine  as a child curling up in the bed with a good book or a sleepover!!

Check this out!! Our four boys would have loved this!!  Four bunk beds and an attached bathroom!!

Above, the office space, a bathroom (of which this house has five), and a spectacular light fixture!

Full House Lottery Homes 2017 (#1) Grand Prize 1

Full House Lottery Homes invite you to imagine living in a home that you have only dreamt of.  Do you imagine your kids sliding downstairs to a ball pit? Perhaps you long to have your own half-size basketball court, a private lounge, built-in wine coolers in your dining room, a loft-style house?  Well the builders have taken those dreams and incorporated them in three homes in Edmonton to be raffled off in the Full House Lottery.

The lottery prizes aren't exclusively homes.  There are prizes of vehicles, kayaks, vacations and more.

Full House Lottery helps fund neonatal intensive care units, advanced trauma suites, critical brain care and much more that government funding couldn't hope to cover.  That's why these lotteries exist.  This year's lottery will provide funding of healthcare in Northern Alberta, including an advanced CT scanner and a Stroke ambulance.

Here's house #1.  Is it your dream?

The main floor has an open concept kitchen, dining and living room.  Near the front door is a music room.

Games room, office (off the master bedroom), a kitchenette, and the glass art (by the main entrance)

The gym includes a 1/2 size court, volleyball, hockey and basketball nets, climbing ropes, a stationery bike and a set of hand weights (dumbbells).

A massage room equipped with table and charts  is on the lower level along with the 1/2 size gymnasium

Two large doors swing open to reveal this spacious master bedroom

It's Full House Lottery Time Again. Time for Some Knock Out Luxury Show Homes

Every year, late winter is Full House Lottery season.  The prizes consist of one of three luxury show homes as the grand prize, followed by cars, a kayak, dream vacation, a motorcycle and more.  Here's a little taste to whet your appetite.  Later today I will post the first of three show home tours.  It's exciting!!

Spring Tease

Blooming at the greenhouse in February clockwise from top left:  irises, white hyacinth,  an almost ready orange on a tree and a citrus  (lemon or lime).

Indoor Garden at Greenland Garden Centre 2017

This year's garden was, for me, anti-climatic.  Sure it's fun to see a model train chugging through a village with live trees and shrubs in the landscaping but honestly I was a bit disappointed.  Last year's tropical oasis was more of a thrill for me.

Bridal Fantasy 2017

Yesterday my daughter was stoked about Bridal Fantasy as we embarked on the traditional, the contemporary and the eclectic; the fashion, the floral and the food. Here is it - Bridal Fantasy 2017!!  Have a look:

Fashion

There were a lot of strapless gowns, men's fancy socks, wedding night lingerie and underwear, men's suits and tuxes but apparently I didn't get photos of any of those.  I wasn't close enough to get close-ups on the embellishments but you get the idea.

Tablescapes

Floral

I LOVED this booth!! (above.) PS, not everything in this mosaic were in this booth but you can probably tell which were.

Miscellaneous

The elephant took me by surprise!  You too?  Like I said, eclectic. Moss is huge!  Right on trend.

 Cakes and desserts

Did we miss them or where are all the cakes and tablescapes?  This year there were a lot of limos and photographers, destination getaways and venue booths. I hope in the future Bridal Fantasy will have more cake/dessert vendors and more fancy tables and ideas for decorating.  Just saying, that's what I was looking for.
