West Edmonton Mall Decorates with Poinsettia Trees

A recent visit to West Edmonton Mall revealed a plethora of Christmas magic bedecking the malls.  Above is a poinsettia tree which is actually several, perhaps hundreds, silk poinsettias arranged in a framework to look like an enormous red tree.  From a distance, it is quite stunning.

Above is another wing of the mall decorated to the nines for Christmas.  I don't know the name of this wing but it has offices on either side that overlook the tree.   It is one of my favourite areas of the mall for its design and decor.

Do you have a favourite mall/store to visit during the Christmas break?

Happy New Year Shirley! I like to go to the West Ed once every year or two but not at Christmas. St Albert Mall is just the right size for a quick stop and it's never very crowded.
