Visiting Vancouver Shoreline

This photo was taken by my son, S, while visiting the shores near Vancouver BC.  This is the mainland, not the island, mind you.  I can just feel the cool moist air and hear the crash of the waves on the shore, can't you?

I am joining Saturday Snapshot with At Home With Books today.

Yes I can smell the salt air and hear the waves. Very reminiscence of the Oregon coast.

That is beautiful, and yes, I can hear the waves! Reminds me a bit of parts of Scotland, where we went once on holiday. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/vTUc8

That looks very BC! My son is out there for university and it is indeed very misty and cool.

It's a great picture! I'd love to have the sea mist floating over me right now....(it's a bit warmish here).

Here's my Snapshot.

So atmospheric and beckoning. I may look at it again tomorrow as temps soar into the 90's!

I lived in Vancouver for a year in the 80s, it's such a beautiful area- on the mainland, and the island. Such a gorgeous shot your son took.

It is beautiful! It reminds me a lot of the shoreline in Oregon near where I grew up.

Lovely! It reminds me of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.

Haha, sorry to correct you, mom. But, this photo was actually taken near Tofino on the Island. :)
