Poor old Balzac Billy, such a lot of responsibility on such little shoulders.
With a continental climate it is hardly possible except for global warming, to have another 6 weeks of winter.

I guess our Wisconsin Groundhog, I think his name is Jimmy--didn't see his shadow, so we are having an early spring. (Just as soon as the 4' of snow melts.) I love your picture, so very beautiful!

What a beautiful sunrise! As for the groundhog, I don't put a lot of faith in him either, but as you said, it's a fun tradition :o)
