Weekend Reflections
These photos were taken in Louisiana. My son and a friend were driving the countryside and happened upon this scene. They desperately wanted to see alligators and thought this looked promising. So, hopping a fence, they took some photos. Alas, no gators but nice reflections. (thank goodness!) Thanks Ty for the photos!

Ah, it does look like Louisiana! And what great reflections! I'm with you -- I'd definitely rather find reflections than alligators! Have a lovely weekend!

I am rather relieved there were no alligators! Have a wonderful weekend, xv.
That looks so pretty, very different from my part of the world. But I certainly wouldn't need to see alligators in the wild!
The reason mother's turn gray ....
I'm glad all the boys got were these lovely pictures. Granted, a gator bite would have been more exciting, but it might have made hopping over fences much more of a challenge in the future!
this looks like one of the birdlakes oín Sweden. :) They are as empty now as your photo. We still have some snow lingering.
The place looks so peaceful but that changes when you talk about gators.
Great reflection photos.
Right! no alligators pls? Love the calmness & the quiteness of the surroundings.
Gracious indeed...
Happy w/end.

Very nice reflections! If you still want to see some swamp gators, I have a picture here:

I was thinking how undisturbed this looked and now I know why. Who want's to tangle with gators?
I'd like a slice of alligator pie please.
So peaceful. Love the shimmering glow of the water!
I love the cool blue of the water. Nicely shot.
Peace,
