Welcome to the Full House Lottery Tour 2014. This is an annual fundraiser for two of the local hospitals. The first house on the tour is the Grand Prize 1 "The Augusta" built by Perry Homes. 5710 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 3 and a half baths.
Above, one of two ostentatious chandeliers. Another in smaller scale hangs just above the living room window seen bottom right in the above photo.
This room is open to the upper living area but could be closed off with the addition of French doors to be a fourth bedroom.
I loved the vivid artwork and the turquoise colour scheme!!
"Someone's been sleeping in my bed," memories of the children's tale Goldilocks came to mind upon seeing the rumpled bedding above. This is a children's bedroom, one of two.
Above, the master bathroom.
This enormous closet off the master bedroom, the size of a small room, featured several pieces of cabinetry in combination with rods for clothing storage. The colour theme continued here with t-shirts in turquoise and white.
This placard was in the laundry room beside glass jars of clothes pins and sponges.
Above left and right, the Master bedroom.
One thing I liked about this house was the built-in storage units in the hallway, the laundry, the back entrance off the garage and in the bedrooms. Whatever would you do with all of it.
This home is definitely designed with the professional who loves to entertain in mind. It's open concept design lends to large gatherings of people. There were three bar areas, one in the kitchen with a bar sink, a bar cart in one of the living room areas upstairs, and a full bar in the basement. I nicknamed this house "the party house." Do you want to live here or be a neighbour?
