Shadowy Corner

I took this photo this last week in the early morning.  It amazes me how shadows change as the season changes.  Shadows become elongated and days shorten.  It makes for good photography.

I am joining the meme for Shadow Shot Sunday today.  Click here for shadowy delights:

First of all, welcome to the fun! I love your shadow shot for the day, Shirley! And you're right about the shorter the days, the longer the shadows! And it does indeed make for good photography! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!

It looks like the tree is climbing up on the wall, isn't it? Very well done, Lady?

Great greytones, with just the conifer in green, and then the different patterns: shadows of trees vs sharp lines and curves. Well seen.

I like it a lot. This time of year does indeed cast longer shadows, and in the daylight lately, a more intense bright sun. You captured it inn a good way. Peace.

I have noticed lots of shadows now that the sun is tilting. Great shot.

Glad you joined the meme, Some of us just SEE shadows, so it is good to be able to share them.

The strength of our late spring sun casts very sharp shadows, jet sometimes the light ephemeral shadows though a mist or light cloud cover are even more attractive.
I often stand in wonder in front of just such shadows as you have portrayed and watch em slowly shift position.
