It was late afternoon and the light was just right to capture this reflection in our back yard pond. The yard is slowly greening up and the pump has been put back in place in the pond. We've enjoyed some glorious sunny days lately and I've even been out watering trees and shrubs. Snow is gone!!! (the written word cannot even begin to express my joy!). Thursday was spent cleaning up the garden beds, watering, and raking. Rain is forecast for the weekend, including Mother's Day. It'll still be warm, though, so I won't complain and the garden will flourish. Oh, happy days!

Hi Shirley — Thanks for commenting on my blog. I'm glad you caught my "rearly reflected"!!
I love your pond. I'm glad it's warming up, up there in Edmonton. It is down here in the Medicine Hat area, too, and we've been getting enough rain to make my trees begin to sprout leaves, and for the dandelions to bloom. My tulips have leaves, as do my irises, and my neighbour has actual red tulips along her south-facing wall. I can see them from the window beside my computer. Hooray!

Nice pond reflection.
I guess spring is moving north. Where I am it is moving rapidly towards summer. Meadows are turning from green to gold, tulips and wisteria are long gone, peonies and roses take center stage.
Oh, what a pretty picture, love the reflection. The weather here is warming up a little bit day by day, too. It's just so nice to see some flowers blooming finally.
Always nice to meet a "fellow" Canadian in the blogsphere. A lovely reflection in your pond! I hope the weather stays warm.
This is a beautiful reflection! Is there a rock to be seen in the pond? Or a mountain? You must live in beautiful surroundings!
Nice pond reflection!

Beautiful composition with nice contrast. A reflection magic. Very beautiful
Oh, beautiful reflection in the pond! It's so wonderful to have a pond in a garden. Spring rain makes plants greener and flourishing! Now, Nara where I live is enjoying the best season of verdure. Have a nice day!
You picked up here quite a nice contrast between the hardness of the stone and the softness of the reflection... Well done !
I love ponds. Miss the one at my parents yard... Well spoted reflections.
