Pretty blooms, I don't often see white. Mine are all on the ground after 2 days of rain.

Shirley, the crabapples are beautiful. My only wish is that they would last for weeks instead of mere days, but the days we have with them are spectacular. I enjoyed reading all of your posts I have missed, too. The geese are really big close up, aren't they?

Hello Lavender Cottage,

It is amazing that with the wind gusts we've had the last three days that there are any flower petals left at all on the crabapples and apple trees.

We are due for rain this weekend, desperately needed with all the grass fires in the province, so that may indeed be the end of the blossoms.

Karen,

Hi there! We really should visit more often, I know! Yes, the geese are big up close and this pair were smaller than some I've seen.

I too wish the flowering crabapples, Maydays, chokecherries and cherry trees would bloom longer. It smells so heavenly near them right now.

Crab apple blossoms are one of the things I look forward to most every Spring!
