Living Reflections

Last weekend we visited Long Lake Provincial Park.  The water was rather cool, the day a warm 24 Celsius, the company the best (family), and the location GORGEOUS!  Above is a family of mallards, a mother and seven ducklings.  You see her standing on watch above.

The evening light is softer and the beach has been pretty much deserted with the exception of a grandmother and granddaughter and me, of course.  This is a boater's paradise.

Of course I am now longing to return.  A day just isn't enough of a break from the big city.

Quite a nice parade! And yes some people are just rude at events like this. You can see more of my reflected sky at http://lewsotherpics.blogspot.com/2013/08/sky-watch-sky-at-sunset.html.
