How lovely the evening light glows on this autumn day in the river valley

We (hubby and I) found an excellent location to take photos of the river valley. The sun was low in the sky this evening and the light upon the autumn foliage made it glow.  This post has few words because the scenery says it all.

Watery Wednesday

Photo taken September 30 overlooking the North Saskatchewan River.  It was a brilliant autumn afternoon, warm and fresh with the scent of fall.  To see more Watery Wednesdays visit

MY WORLD

This Chinese Garden is located near the North Saskatchewan River east and downhill of the Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We went here to take some autumn family photos but sadly I neglected to get more of the garden itself.

Across the river you see the Muttart Conservatory housed in four glass pyramidal structures.
The squared building at the far right is the Shaw Conference Center.  This all overlooks the river valley.
The North Saskatchewan River as seen just above the Chinese Garden.

This week I am joining Sylvia who's hosting That's My World meme.  Come see the world and join the fun here:  http://sylviafromoverthehill.blogspot.com/2010/10/thats-my-world.html
