Watery Wednesday - Mississippi River and Tributary

Driving the bridge over the Mississippi River late September.

 Crossing one bridge over the Mississippi River and seeing another running parallel. 

I particularly like this vantage point where one can see both the bridges over the Mississippi River.

The Red River (above) is a tributary which feeds into the Mississippi River.  This photo was taken in the fall in Louisiana.

No wondered when I first looked, I said, hummm these bridges look so familiar. So I used to live in NO and would drive to Mississippi often, this post made me miss NO, but it's a good reminisce.
