It's a beautiful day for a garden visit. Today's photo was taken last weekend at a garden tour/fundraiser for a local library.
Thank you everyone for commenting on this unusual sculpture, water feature, or whatever it is. It is one of the oddest pieces of garden "art" I've seen.

Yikes!
Now that guy is very interesting, and what a great addition to a garden.

Mama Zen's Wordless Wednesday is something I never would have expected!
Lorraine,
Hugs to you dear one!
I wish I had such an Earth spirit in my garden. One who embraces all creatures great and small and lets them all drink from his bounty.
Um, not sure I could look at that face everyday, but interesting conversation piece!
Well, I guess it's all three! But it would startle me if I came across it on a dark night. Actually, I like it!
it´s a bird bath but the birds hasn´t find it yet. :)
Arija, I like the way you look at it!
LostRoses, I agree. When I saw it on a garden tour last weekend I just had to take a photo!
Karen, I think it grows on you, especially if you look at it the way Arija does.
NatureFootstep, you may be right!

An interesting garden feature, though that water looks so stagnant, a likely breeding ground for mosquitoes.
