MY WORLD

This Chinese Garden is located near the North Saskatchewan River east and downhill of the Shaw Conference Center in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
We went here to take some autumn family photos but sadly I neglected to get more of the garden itself.

Across the river you see the Muttart Conservatory housed in four glass pyramidal structures.
The squared building at the far right is the Shaw Conference Center.  This all overlooks the river valley.
The North Saskatchewan River as seen just above the Chinese Garden.

This week I am joining Sylvia who's hosting That's My World meme.  Come see the world and join the fun here:  http://sylviafromoverthehill.blogspot.com/2010/10/thats-my-world.html

I meant to add that I really appreciate your joining the fun, but the My World meme was/is the "child" of Klaus and is also hosted by Sandy, Fishing Guy and Wren. And the more the merrier. I just have to give credit where credit is due! Enjoy your day!

Thank you for the comments everyone and to Sylvia for crediting those whose brainchild this meme is. I understand there are guest hosts, of whom Sylvia is one. Thank you everyone for hosting such an interesting meme that takes us around the world through the eyes of other bloggers.

Must be a very young Chinese garden or is it just your growing conditions? Lovely autumn foliage and scenery .
We are both posting on an Oriental theme today, mine is a Japanese garden.

I really like Chinese gardens. What pavilion is it in your photo?

Sure are some beautiful photos.

You visited my blog and asked my opinion on the movie Return of Nanny McPhee. I enjoyed it and you asked about teens. I went with my 16 year old daughter and she seemed to enjoy it too. It's definitely not my favorite movie by any means, but it was a fun evening out.

Oh and by the way, thanks for visiting my blot.

To answer the query from BlossomFlowerGirl, I really don't know the name of the pavillion. We were in such a rush to fit in a family photo while helping our son pack to move to Vancouver that I didn't check. I'll definitely have to go again.
