Which is Real?

As daylight hours dwindle and the slant of the sun catches the south window at a new angle that only late fall can bring, perfect shadows become visible within.  The rays carry a new warm tone of autumn yellow as they peek through the louvers of the blind, warming the walls within in a new hue.  Another glory in autumn.

This photo was unaltered and was taken late last fall.  I interrupted a game of cards on a Sunday afternoon to take it amidst groans and exclamations, "there she goes again", I captured this rare (never before appreciated prior to blogging) and warm scene to share for Shadow Shot Sunday http://heyharriet.blogspot.com/ and SOOC (Straight Out of the Camera) http://www.murrieta365.com/ .   Happy Sunday!!

Gorgeous, golden shadow shot and I hear the same thing every time I reach for my camera!! But that's okay, we have more fun than a lot of people, I bet! Hope your new year is off to a great start! Laugh, love and enjoy!

One of my sons once said he thought the camera is a distraction from seeing the wold, I think that it allows us to see more. Would we notice the shadows if it weren't for the meme?
This one is especially worthy of notice.

Isn't it amazing what you start seeing when you take photographs for memes? That's why I like to play them. :)

This shadow shot turned out very well!

Being on a snowy prairie, the very cold and drifting snow has to be a challenge. Yet, the shadow and wall with the yellow hue looks so warm, the temps inside seeming - unlike the first step outside the door. Brrrrr!

Happy New Year!
