Deep in Shadow

Shadows in photos can be intricate or vague
but shadows on their own appeal to the creative senses.
This was taken this morning in my garden.

Shadow Shot Sunday features photos from around the world, sharing unique shadowy perspectives.

Your garden was good to you this morning, gifting you with shadows!

COMPADRES

Shadows above me,
Shadows below;
Some shadows swift and
Some shadows slow;
All of these shadows,
It’s plain to see,
Are my compadres—
Sweet company!

Isn’t it nice when we walk outside and find a lovely image like this before our eyes. Your capture of the moment is so pretty...not too dark and not too light...just perfect.

What a contrast...so perfect is the soft background and stark, crisp shadow!!

That is one lovely shot - that takes me back to when I was little and had just discovered my passion for shadows - it was a tree of course :D
Thank you for sharing!

Shirley....Genie here, again. I saw your question...I use Picnik and I paid the fee for the Pro account because it had options to it that I wanted to use. Also, I an posting very little to this blog because I have not been crafting this summer but doing the photography. The blog that I post to daily is my:
http://climbingthedigitalmountain.blogspot.com. I vary the mosaics with their frames and all of their editing options. It is really a good program and sometime quicker than going into PSE9 to edit the shots. Hope this helps. Genie

I seldom leave a response, however i did some searching and wound up here "Deep in Shadow".

And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it's allright. Could it be only me or does it appear like a few of these remarks appear as if they are coming from brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are posting on other places, I would like to follow everything fresh you have to post. Would you make a list of the complete urls of your community sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
