The Storm That Disappeared as Quickly as it Came

Earlier, just before lunch, it was rather warm and sunny.  The clouds moved in around 1pm and then about 1/2 an hour ago, this deluge.  It was gone as quickly as it appeared.  Now, sunny again.  :)

So nice though for the gardens to have a little drink. I'm still waiting for my rain clouds :(

That looks like one furious storm!

WHEN PLANETS PLUMMET

When planets plummet
And comets careen,
It’s the strangest sight
You ever have seen.

When drunk stars stagger
And comets collide,
It’s time to look up
As you go outside

To stare at the sky
Where the strangest sight
Is the moon-faced thing
That you see at night.

It looks as if the rain really came down for a while. We could have used some of that here. I hope there was no damage done to your garden.

Beautiful photos. I like the second photo. It is a live snapshot of the storm.

And with that comes a hot steamy afternoon. At least around here in this neck of the woods. Ohhhhhhhh, and how I love your flower blossoms below this post too.

With the impending fizzling tropical storm yesterday and not being online much because of preparing for the worst that never came, I'm now trying to catch up on visiting those that visited me. Thanks for taking the time to leave a great comment: MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Have a blessed weekend.

Oh, sometimes those fast-moving storms can be very scary. Glad to see this one was just passing through without any damage, though it looks like it got a little windy. I do love it when it rains and then the sun comes out right away!

Wow, what a shower!

I love your hosta images ... I got a few, but all in the shady part of my garden.

Wish you a great week!

Irene
