Hi Shirley. Thanks for paying me a visit - and welcome too. This is a return call.
You ask what is a stoat. It is a member of the weasel family - I think related to the ermine too. It is a fierce predator and lives mainly on rabbits. According to my dictionary you have them in North
America too. Do call again.

I like it in a collage so we can see four different views at once. NEAT!

Amazing sunrise, how great to have such a great view of them. They are all gorgeous. I love the soft pink cotton candy clouds. They look very tasty... ; )

Incredible colour, Shirley. My husband is in Edmonton tonight, and he has his camera. Maybe I'll get him to look outside at sunrise. What I love about Alberta sunrises and sunsets is they often spread all the way around the horizon.

We DO all gaze upward, now that we are Skywatchers, don't we? These shots are full of lovely dawn colors. I'm glad you were up early!
