Floods in Saskatchewan July 2010






The above photos were taken near Mill Creek, Saskatchewan last week.  Farmer's property under water and just the very top of a lamp post is visible giving a pretty good indication of the severity of it all. The westbound lane of hwy 1 is now a huge sink hole!  Looks like the east bound lane is just flooded!

Be strong. The loss of a harvest impacts Canada and the world grain stores. It is heartbreaking to see the damage.

Dear Anonymous, Thank you visiting. I appreciate your comment. You're right, the impact affects many. Some farmers in southern Alberta haven't been able to plant crops at all. It's a tough time for many.
