Red Deer Advocate - Parking place with style opens

Red Deer has a new transit station complete with a living roof. The roof is planted with sedum which can grow in a shallow soil and withstand the elements quite well. They flower in the summer and change colour in the fall too so it adds visual interest. See this article for more.

Oh interesting! Here on the Island we have a place (called Coombs) where they have goats on the roof - but the living roof sounds like a great idea!
